to Beat the Top 5 Fitness Obstacles

Any journey toward a worthwhile goal will have a few obstacles along the way, and a New York weight loss program is no different.  In my years as a fitness trainer I have coached innumerable clients on how to work through their weight loss challenges.

If your goal is to become fit, you will certainly come against some major obstacles towards your weight loss goal.  How you prevail over these difficulties will determine whether you eventually succeed or fail on your course.  Here are the top 5 obstacles I have helped my clients overcome, and my advice on how to rise above these on your own.

Boredom – Eating the same diet food and doing the same exercise routine everyday will easily become boring.  When I coach my clients about their diet, I tell them to modify their recipes slightly by rotating the kinds of vegetables they use, and trying different spices.  For example, you can switch from onions to tomatoes to bell peppers in your breakfast egg-white omelets.  Or for a Caribbean twist, try using jerk seasoning in your chicken & veggie stir-fry.  Since spices have almost no calories, you can experiment with them to your heart’s content.

Regarding exercise, you can switch up your exercises in your usual routine, or try different ones altogether, like a spinning class at the New York weight loss center, or hiking to get some fresh air.  You can also try working out with a group in a boot camp, which will definitely be varied and challenging.  Changes keep you motivated on your New York weight loss program, and will serve to workout different muscle groups.

Family and friends – When you’re on a weight loss program it can seem like nobody understands the challenges you face, otherwise why would they keep offering you cookies and lasagna?  Or always invite you to hang whenever you have to go to the weight loss clinic in New York to meet your trainer?  Your loved ones are not trying to sabotage you; they just don’t realize that they are making things difficult.  All you need to do is have a talk with them and explain how important your weight loss goals are.

Not having the time – As a personal trainer, I have heard this excuse the most for not eating well or working out.  Our schedules are always too full to fit in a trip to the weight loss center in New York, and 15 minutes is too much to spare to prepare a nutritious meal.
If you truly think you don’t have the time to go to the New York weight loss center, incorporate small pockets of exercise into your regular routine, like taking the stairs or going for a walk on your lunch break.  You might want to purchase some home exercise equipment so you can work out while watching your favorite shows.  You can also plan dates to go for a brisk walk in the park, so you don’t have to sacrifice your face time with a significant other.  Anything will contribute towards the success of your weight loss program.

Frustration – People tend to give up when they are working on something and don’t see any progress.  In my personal trainer business I tell my clients that even if the don’t always “feel” like they are losing weight, keeping a fitness journal with all their weigh-ins and measurements documented would help them see that they are really making progress towards their weight loss goals.
